.NET 7 Preview is Here, I've Upgraded and Experienced It

I heard that .NET 7 is coming. As a site owner, how could I not try it out? On New Year's Eve, I'll give a brief report on my experience, and then welcome the new spring:

3. First Taste Experience

3.1 Installing .NET 7 SDK

I develop on Windows 11, so I installed the Windows X64 version. A few screenshots to prove I installed it, haha.

3.2 Hello World

Created an empty Blazor Server project, memory usage while running (28.3 MB). I didn't bother with other project templates; feel free to try them yourself:

3.3 Personal Website (Dotnet9) Embraces .NET 7

This site is built with ABP vNext + MASA Blazor. After upgrading to .NET 7 and other NuGet packages, it compiled seamlessly and is now successfully running online: https://dotnet9.com.

The site is still under development and constantly being optimized. Currently it uses about 400MB of memory; no rush, taking it slow.

4. Conclusion

So far, the Dotnet9 website has embraced .NET 7 and upgraded perfectly. At least as of now (2021-01-31 11:38), it has been running stably for nearly 12 hours. Haha, best wishes to all:
